Prof Dileep Namdeorao Malkhede, Advisor – I, All India Institute of Technical Education has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.
Governor and Chancellor of Universities Bhagat Singh Koshyari has announced the selection of Prof Dileep Malkhede to the post for a term of 5 years.
Prof Malkhede succeeds Dr. Murlidhar Chandekar whose term ended on 1 June 2021.
Dr. Vilas Bhale, Vice-Chancellor of Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth was holding the additional charge of the post.
Prof Malkhede, Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering in Pune is serving on deputation to AICTE as Advisor –I since 1 June 2016.
