Roads like Katrina Kaif’s cheeks: Rajasthan minister’s bizarre statement

Spread the love

Nagpur: Rajasthan minister Rajendra Singh Gudha’s video which went viral on social media has put him under trouble. The recently appointed minister was addressing a public gathering in Udaipurwati, which is his constituency.

While addressing the gathering, Gudha said that the roads in his constituency should be made like Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif’s cheeks. “Roads should be made like Katrina Kaif’s cheeks,” he said.

However, soon after the video of his comment went viral, he gained a lot of criticism. Netizens have called his comment inappropriate and have demanded a response from Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Vadra has been addressing women’s issues and promising representation for women in the upcoming elections. Surprisingly, this is not the first time that this is happening. Several ministers have also ‘promised’ to build roads in their specific constituencies like actor-turned-politician Hema Malini. RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in 2005 had allegedly claimed that the roads in Bihar will soon be turned “as smooth as Hema Malini’s cheeks”.
